Canon T100 vs T7 - A Personal Comparison.

I wanted to share my personal experience comparing two DSLR cameras: the Canon EOS Rebel T100 and the Canon EOS Rebel T7. The T100 was my very first camera when I started my photography journey. While it was quite pleasant to use overall, there were a few aspects I struggled to connect with.

The T100 felt slightly heavy, though still comfortable to hold. As a beginner, I found the settings menu a bit troublesome to navigate. While I was content with the camera at the time, it felt more geared toward amateur photographers rather than complete beginners.

Now, let's talk about the T7. I got the T7 around two years ago, and I've completely fallen in love with it. In my opinion, it's far better suited for beginners. The difference in weight is noticeable, and the settings menu (at least for me) is much easier to understand. That makes a huge difference when trying to get the best possible shot.

One small but enjoyable feature the T7 offers that the T100 doesn't is a switch to power the camera on. It's simple, but I really like it. Both cameras came with the standard 18-55mm kit lens when I bought them, but the T7 remains my preferred choice. It's just easier to use and understand-especially when it comes to adjusting settings on the fly.
